EU_HF.ZIP contains a EU_HF.dtb database consisting of the 8337 callsigns and last two digits of the year of operator's first ever official amateur radio license with this readme.txt file. The EU_HF.dtb database drives the exchange guessing feature of Win-Test. If exchange guessing is enabled and when a callsign of a station included in the database is entered its last two digits of the year of operator's first license will be automatically retrieved. Also the Check Partial window can show the same information if it has been enabled by checking the display exchange option in the context menu. Win-Test will load database automatically if EU_HF.dtb file is available and EU-HF Championship Contest is selected. Just put EU_HF.dtb into your /databases directory. To locate this directory use File / Explore / Databases directory (v4 only) or save database file in

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Win-Test\databases\
Windows Vista & Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\Win-Test\databases\

For Win-Test version 3, save database file in

C:\Program Files\Win-Test\ (or the Win-Test installation directory)

EU_HF.dtb is a binary format and is not editable!

Download EU_HF.ZIP from http://s50clx.infrax.si following DOWNLOAD link.

Just remember! Log what you heard, not what a database tells you that you might have heard. If you didn't hear it, don't log it. Exchange guessing feature is not a replacement for your ears!

EUHFC_YEARS_N1MM.ZIP contains a EUHFC_years_N1MM.txt database consisting of the 8337 callsigns and last two digits of the year of operator's first ever official amateur radio license with this EUHFC_years_N1MM_Readme.txt file.

The EUHFC_years_N1MM.txt database drives the exchange guessing feature of N1MM Contest Logging Software. When a callsign is typed into the Entry window and the Space bar is pressed (or Enter, in the ESM case), the Call History database is searched. If the callsign is found, the associated Call History data is displayed on the "beam heading" line in the Entry window. If the contest exchange fields are blank, the data retrieved from the database are also used to pre-fill any relevant exchange field(s) in the Entry window. Finally, if the Entry window height is large enough, the data found in the UserText field are displayed below the bearing line. It is not necessary for Call History to be enabled in the Config menu to display the UserText information.

To load the file into N1MM:

- save the call history file EUHFC_years_N1MM.txt to a known place on your computer
- in N1MM go to File | Import | Import Call History
- navigate to where the file is located and select EUHFC_years_N1MM.txt
- hit OK and you're ready to go

If you haven't enabled N1MM's call history look up feature, click on Config | Call History Lookup. This is in addition to importing the file.

Download EUHFC_YEARS_N1MM.ZIP EUHFC database for N1MM Contest Loggin Software from http://s50clx.infrax.si/ following DOWNLOAD link.

Just remember! Log what you heard, not what a database tells you that you might have heard. If you didn't hear it, don't log it. Exchange guessing feature is not a replacement for your ears !
